  • get_app Add Demandic to the home screen

    During you open Demandic, do one of the following to add Demandic to the Home screen.

    • Edge on PC: Click Install button on the navigation bar.
    • Chrome on Android: Tap "Add to Home Screen" from the right menu button of the address bar. Or, tap OK several times if "Add Demandic to home screen" is displayed.
    • Safari on iOS: Tap "Add to Home Screen" on the share menu of Safari.

  • person Manage user settings and user's public profile
    User settings

    In User's basic information you can confirm and change information such as name and address. Press the Edit button to edit. Some items such as birthday cannot be changed. If you change some of the basic information, you will need to re-verify your identity. Some items including country, region, name will be copied to your public profile. When you make a purchase, your contact details including your address and telephone number will be disclosed to the seller. Some of the items are visible in the organization. Your organization administrator can view and change many items other than your password and email phrase.

    In the user's public profile, confirm which items your peers can see in a consulting session. For your safety, be careful not to disclose anything you don't need to. Your country, region and purchase history including the number of past demands and purchases will also be published on your demands.

    User's public profile for an organization user accounts allow you to write a lot. That is for jobs like lawyers and consultants. Also, if you set it to searchable and specify "Location and business area", it will appear in the search results on the "Search for shops and organizations" page.

  • attach_money Manage currencies and languages

    You can use more than 170 currencies and more than 30 languages. They are too many to handle daily. You have to choose your favorite ones on the "User's basic information" page in advance. If your preferred language isn't listed, choose \"Others\". Once you choose some languages and currencies, you can view them on the "User's basic information" page.

    When you create a demand or a receiver, choose one from the list. If you don't have a language you just added in the language selector on a page, visit another page, return to the the page, then choose the language.

    When you search for something with the ALL option in language selection, the first language in your language list is used for the search language. Thus, if your language settings don't match your intent, you won't get correct search results.

    Organization settings

    To create an organization, tap the user menu button at the upper right corner to open the user menu. Tap "Create a new organization" to create one for your organization. Once you create a new organization, you will become the first user of the organization and an organization admin. Log in with the first user's D-address. "Organization settings" has been added to the user menu. First, do the following in the "Organization settings" menu.

    1. Check the contents of the “Basic information” page.
    2. Next, move to the "Public profile" page, tap the + button to create a public profile. You can create one or more profiles for each language. If you want to sell, you must fill in sales policies such as contact information and return policy as they are mandatory by law in many countries.
      The item "Our location and business area" is important. If you use "Tap the map to set location", your organization will be included in the search results of the "Search for shops and organizations" page.
      The logo image will be displayed to your peer during consultation sessions and used for the user menu icon. Don't use a facial photo so that anyone can earn regardless of race, gender or age. (For photo of a cat or an animal..... buyers may not think you are a serious seller).
      Some items are obtained from the basic information and cannot be changed.

    When you want to work in another organization, press one of D-addresses listed under "Switch organizations" in the user menu and log in.

  • people_alt Manage organization users and groups, invite and delete

    User menu → Organization settings → Users, Groups

    1. The Users page displays the list of users and allows you to manage them. You can add, delete users and change users' basic information and password. The date in the list of users is the date that the user last logged in.

      Resetting user's password can be done for a user or for multiple users after selection. A new password is sent to a user by email.

      If the user can't access the email and you need to know the new password, change user's email to your email and then reset the user's password. The user is notified about that.

    2. You can invite users to join your organization. Invitations to Demandic and invitations to your organization are possible. Only organization admins can invite somebody to your organization. To cancel an invitation, press the edit button in the list of invitations and delete the item.
    3. The Group page allows you to manage groups. You cannot add users or groups yet. Initially there is only the "Head office" group that represents the headquarters. In the future, we plan to add management functions for branches and groups.

    When you want to work in another organization, press one of D-addresses listed under "Switch organizations" in the user menu and log in.

  • people_alt Invite friends and customers to Demandic and your organization
    1. To invite somebody to Demandic, press "Invite friends and customers" on the user menu. If you are an organization admin, you can invite them to your organization as well.
    2. Enter a message and email addresses, then press the Send button. To cancel an invitation, tap the edit button in the list of invitations and delete the item.

    User menu → User settings → Withdraw and delete user

    The deletion of individual user account and data will be possible only if there is no visible demands on the Demandic Ocean and no belonging organization user account.

    Organizations have to retain the record of your deal for a certain period of time by law, only administrator users can delete your organization account. If you need, ask them.

    In case of deletion, all of your data will be deleted, all of your user accounts will be locked, and your products and public profiles will become invisible. Your demands will be closed but still visible for three months in order to prevent improper use. Because messages and quotes you sent were copied to your peer, they can continue to read them. Your payment will continue until the balance becomes zero.

    Once you delete your account or data, they will never come back. User accounts and data for an organization and a user may be deleted without any warning if they have no log-in for more than three years.

  • compare_arrows Reset your password when you forget it

    Press the login button and press "Forgot password" to enter the password reset screen.

    Enter one of your D-addresses and press "Send verification code via email" to send a verification code to the registered email. If you do not receive the email, check that your D-address is correct and look for your junk email folder. The verification code is valid for 4 hours, and if you make a mistake repeatedly, you will not be able to reset it for 20 minutes.

    After entering the verification code, enter the new password and record it. Press "Send".

    Log in with your new password. The password automatically displayed by the browser is obsolete, so enter the new password.

  • folder Create, choose, or delete projects

    To navigate in a project, tap the "Projects" button on the menu bar either create a new project or choose a project from the list of projects.

    In the project, you can move to the "Project menu" page as above by tapping the upper left menu button ("Sell cars" in the picture) in a project.

    To change the name or properties of a project, open the project, then open project settings from the project menu.

    To delete a project, open the project, open project settings from the project menu, press delete project. Then press the delete project button.

  • list Lists

    In Demandic many pages consist of a list of items and a view of each item. You can manipulate them using common techniques.

    • Press the title of the list to reload. It is faster than the browser's reload button.
    • Below the title of the list, you can see two numbers like "30+ 30". The first number shows the number of items loaded on the list. If the number has the + mark, there are more items on the server. Scrolling down to the bottom of the list or tapping the number downloads more items. The latter number is the number of items to be read at once. You can change it.
    • If the list has a magnifier icon, you can search the list. Full text search is available in some lists.
    • To delete items, tap the Edit button then tap or touch items that you want to delete. Slide your finger or mouse to select multiple items. Then press the trash button to delete. They will never come back.

    • In a list, select an item to show the content as a view. Press the title of the view to reload it.
    • Press the blank to the right of the title to show only sub titles and hide contents. It is a quick way to move to the top of the page or jump to a specific item. Press again to show all. If you press a subtitle, that hides its content.
    • Press the Edit button to edit the content. The Send button sends it to the server. Sometimes the item has been edited and saved by somebody else. In that case an error is shown in order to avert overwriting. Copy what you wrote to somewhere, press the Cancel button, then edit it again.

    After a session, you can send Thanks! messages to say thanks. And you will receive some. Received Thanks! are public. The number of received Thanks! as a buyer and opened Thanks! is shown to others as your and your organization's achievement.

  • free_breakfast Short break, open and close time

    ​​Demandic Ocean is a place for people to interact each other. It is necessary to match the activities with other persons. So, there is a seven-minute break every hour and a nighttime closure, as health could be compromised if you don't take a proper break.

    For health and well-being, the Demandic Ocean closes at approximately 7:30 PM for sellers and closes at 10:00 PM for buyers. It opens at 7:00 AM in the morning. Because the opening and closing occur according to the rotation of this planet, the actual time depends on your location.

    Sellers may close their business much earlier than Demandic does. You may not hear from them until the next business day or later.

  • location_on Enabling location service

    Demandic is a map based app. Sellers require to provide location information for locality aware transactions and improving local economies. When you are asked for permission for location information, press "Permit". Or, permit the use of location information on the browser and the OS.

    When location information is not available, it estimates your location from IP address. However, the accuracy of the estimation is low, you might have troubles during use.
